The Man Who Cursed The Rain is based on the true story of a young woman and the obstacles she must overcome beginning with her birth into poverty.  The story touches on the physical and emotional abuse she experiences as a child, and culminates with her triumph over her husband, who is unpredictable; often cruel, and who almost takes her life.  It is a story about love, betrayal, and the power of forgiving even the unforgivable.
